The outpost was designed by Olson Sundberg Kundig Allen Architects, Oska Architects is a residence and studio / laboratory for the production and viewing art in the remote and rugged landscape of high desert Central Idaho, USA.
An important aspect of the complex is protected “The Garden of Eden”, which is separated from the wild landscape by thick concrete walls. The materials used in the structure of residence Outpost, including concrete block, car-decking and plywood, require little or no maintenance, and are able to withstand extreme weather conditions that characterize the four seasons of the desert.
